- Well, I've had the same problem for a while, ever since I fitted a 1275Mb Connor
- as a main drive with a 575 WD drive as slave.

- The problem appears to be the SSSSLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOW spin up of the Connor, it
- is up and ready in a second or so, but the drive hangs (drive light on) for 8 or
- so seconds.

- When you hear the two drives to their clickie[tm] stuff, just do a soft reset
- and you will be up and running. It doesn't matter if the drive light is on, as
- long as you do not hear any whirling sounds from the drives.

- There was a Hardwear hack to fix this, something about cutting an interface lead
- to the Connor, but being the coward I am, I left the leads well alone.
